The new features in 3D Systems software 3D Sprint 4.0 provide increase productivity, yield better part quality, and improve the print success using your 3D Systems printer.

3D Sprint is 3D Systems’ software for preparing and optimizing CAD & polygon data and managing the additive manufacturing process. Offered with each supported 3D Systems printer, 3D Sprint delivers tools that optimize your 3D print process. Check out the list of new features below.

Increased roductivity

  • Share and reuse build configurations in a distributed production environment
  • Print a combined platform rather than printing individual platforms
  • Maximize printer utilization by using as much build volume as possible
  • Import latest standard and native CAD formats
  • Automatically hollow dental parts
  • Save time with faster workflows as a result of new/improved features and more efficient UI/UX
  • Maximize use of supported legacy SLA printers

Better part quality

  • Calibrate printer before printing using Accuracy Wizard
  • Tools that positively affect part quality when positioning parts and creating linear patterns
  • Improved part slicing for SLA
  • Noise surface texturing
  • Maintain part integrity by rejoining it at the desired location after splitting it using precise plane and circle cuts
  • Support back molars on stacked dental arches
  • Advanced tools to repair parts
  • Create high-quality investment casting patterns

Improved print success rate

  • More robust support structures
  • More options for creating & editing support points at desired locations on the part
  • Reinforce existing supports by drawing custom supports as needed
  • Attach struts directly to the platform
  • Ensure that parts can be retrieved from the platform by avoiding interlocked parts
  • Custom parameters for improved and expanded printability check
