In the wake of PLM Group’s new agreement with sister company Ravema on 3D printing field service, there is now also new opportunities for our Markforged customers.
Starting this autumn, Markforged customers in the Nordics and Baltics can get preventative maintenance at our newly opened service center in Swedish Värnamo. The preventative maintenance program can be used by all Markforged desktop users – with or without a service agreement.
As 3D printing is being increasingly used for business-critical applications, having frequent preventative maintenance is the best way to keep operations run smooth. Maintenance also ensures consistent print quality and repeatability.
The preventative maintenance service is planned at the customer’s convenience, and the majority of printers are returned in a week’s time. If you have a service agreement, you only pay for the consumables. For customers without a service agreement, additional costs for service startup, service time and parts will be added.
