PLM Group’s production partner Prototal Industries is now investing in a new HP Jet Fusion 5210 at the unit in Swedish Jönköping. With the new installation, the company will also be the first service provider in Europe offering the new TPU material ESTANE.
The new Jet Fusion 5210 printer will be included in the beta program for Lubrizol 3D Printing Solutions’ newly developed and softer material ESTANE 3D M88A TPU. Prototal has been selected as the exclusive partner in Europe to offer this material for a six-month period.
Lubrizol’s ESTANE 3D M88A TPU is a material with increased flexibility compared to previous grades. The new material is excellent for various segments, including healthcare, sports & leisure as well as consumer goods & electronics. A big advantage is that the material is tested and safe for skin contact.

“We are very proud to be the first manufacturer in Europe to offer the ESTANE 3D M88A TPU to the market,” says Jan Löfving, CEO of Prototal Industries. With this, we are expanding our range of materials to customers, but we are also introducing fantastic material on the European market.”
“The new material, combined with the investment in a new HP Jet Fusion 5210 3D printer, is in line with our future goals for growth in additive manufacturing in both new and existing segments. It is also an important step in our efforts to continue to develop and promote 3D printing as a production method. ”
The new HP Jet Fusion 5210 in Jönköping will complement Prototal’s existing machine park with over 80 professional AM systems, among them seven HP MJF 3D printers within the company group.
