Sharing ideas in a project team is important, but how do you check the status of an idea and how do you know if the idea will be converted to an R&D project?
In a community on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, it’s possible to add a post called “idea”. By submitting an “idea” in a project community, other members can comment, provide feedback and decide if the idea should be developed further. So, no need to dive into those email threads or chat windows – just keep the communication to one, single place.

What is 3DEXPERIENCE? We explain and show it, from an engineer to another.

Nowadays, 3D printing is so much more than prototyping. With the lightning fast material development going on, you can 3D print carbon fiber reinforced parts with strength equal to machined aluminum parts. Check out this video, to learn more about reinforced 3D printing and how you can benefit from it.
You can order free sample parts regarding our 3D printers and their materials – just fill in your contact info and we’ll send you a sample with no cost.

3D printing is like writing a Santa’s wish list – you wish to print something from a certain type of material, and it comes true in a matter of hours. HP Jet Fusion 500 in (instead of grey) all the colors of the rainbow, so it brings new design possibilities and flexibility to the product development and prototyping. 3D printing can pull its weight where traditional manufacturing methods meet their limits, and this 3D printer is worth learning more about. SOLIDWORKS offers a free entrepreneurial license for 12 months. The license is perfect for start-ups who are full of ideas and skills, but have limited resources. Take a look a Baser, our Danish customer who got the entrepreneurial license. It boosted their company growth and opened new possibilities. The designers had used SOLIDWORKS when studying at university, so it was a natural choice for them.

Swedish design agency Yovinn experienced this when they looked for alternative ways of keeping their customers as competitive. The company is building a 3D Hub in their Gothenburg unit to help customers evolve and in the market. Having own 3D printers in-house help Yovinn serve their customers with all their needs. When the designers at Yovinn introduce a printed part to a customer, they can experience it, rather than just see a digital 3D model on screen. Lately they introduced Markforged X7 3D printer in their business which brought them new capabilities.

Danish NGI A/S is a world leading manufacturer of a wide range of machine feet in stainless steel and reinforced polyamide, for adjustment, stabilization and vibration absorption of all types of machines and equipment. Their product selection is massive – 15,000 pieces – and creating drawings for these products only takes seconds, as the process is automated. Engineers have more time for product development, and customers find what they want on their website without the help of NGI’s engineers. It’s a win-win situation.
NGI A/S is using DriveWorks which is a software for Design Automation.
