What is a role?
A role is a pack of applications that work together to help you achieve you desired result. You can buy one or multiple roles on the platform so that your team can perform their tasks by having exactly what they need for their daily work.
What do I get when I purchase a role in 3DEXPERIENCE?
Once you purchase a role you get a subscription for the amount of time you buy (3 months, 6 months or 1 year). It includes a set of applications, plus cloud storage and cloud computing resources for your data for the duration of your subscription.
You need to purchase more than one role in case multiple team members need to use the same applications. Each role is dedicated to one team member.
Can I use my purchased role on multiple devices?
Yes, you can use web applications on laptop, tablet or your smartphone. For desktop applications, please refer to certified hardware.
What is a 3D Passport and why do I need it?
3D Passport helps to keep you data secure on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. When registering using your own 3D Passport you are able to access all your purchased roles, applications and services.
Do you offer yearly, quarterly, monthly subscription?
We offer yearly, quarterly and/or monthly subscriptions depending on the offer you want to purchase. The subscription is defined for one full period from date to date and the payment must happen upfront by card for the full amount of the subscription.
What kind of support do I get once I purchased?
As a company, you will be able to contact the support services directly through your dedicated company private community. For makers as well as for students, you will be able to interact with your peers and raise your questions in the Maker Support community or the Student Support community.
