Print parts in metal – 3DMetPrint AB lab opening in Älmhult

December 7:th a milestone was reached for the Nordic 3D printing industry – 3D MetPrint AB had their inauguration party together with more than 150 guests traveling from all over Sweden to witness the metal printer in action,  get an interesting and inspiring day with lots of information around 3D printing and mingle in a 3D print forum.

Earlier this fall 3D MetPrint AB invested in a 3D Systems ProX 300 Direct Metal printer from PLM Group. 3D MetPrint is a young company driven by entrepreneurial enthusiasm and engagement benefited by a long experience in the machinery and engineering industries. With 3D MetPrints new printer Nordic companies can easily access the technology and get help with producing more innovative products with complex geometry.

During the afternoon more than 150 participants, traveling from all over Sweden, joined 3D MetPrint AB’s celebration when opening up their factory for the public. If you couldn’t participate, we have gathered a resume in the videoclip below:

At the inauguration party there where several interesting and motivating speakers. One of them is Olaf Diegel, 3D Printer enthusiast and professor of product development, in the department of design sciences of the faculty of engineering at Lund University, in Sweden. Olaf held a really interesting presentation about how innovative products and processes will become reality together with 3D Printing. We recorded the presentation and cut it together so everyone can check it out and get inspired of the possibilities with 3D Printing!

If you have any questions about 3D Printing or 3D MetPrint AB, don’t hesitate contacting us – we are here to help!
